Muscovites are offered to test the capabilities of a single library card in the “My id” application and receive 700 points in the project for this “Task City”. The results will help determine how comfortable residents are with using the electronic version of the document. If necessary, the mobile application will be improved.

“The single library card in the My ID application has become one of the first documents, the digital version of which can be used to receive city services. Last November, we improved it: now it is possible not only to take and return books using a barcode, but also to view the list of books taken and track the deadlines for their return directly in the application. It is important for us that the application is as convenient as possible for users, so we not only listen to feedback, but also offer to test “My id” in the “Task City” project. This way we will be able to study the user experience even better and receive the most complete feedback,” said Dmitry Ivanov, deputy head

Department of Information Technologies of the City of Moscow.

To execute exercise, you must take any book from one of the capital’s libraries by presenting the barcode of a single library card in the “My id” application. If the user does not have a ticket yet, issue one available on the portal or in the library itself. The service will also help you choose a publication “Moscow Libraries”.

After answering a few questions, test participants will tell the developers how convenient it is for them to use the barcode of a single library card and view information about borrowed books.

The “My id” mobile application provides residents with quick access to information about their documents, including passports, driver’s licenses, TIN, SNILS, compulsory medical insurance policy, Muscovite card and a single library card. This allows citizens to quickly view them and share information with trusted persons. Digital versions of some documents are presented in the form of barcodes and QR codes. They can be used to receive city services.

More information about the “My id” application and how to download it can be found on the special project page “Mobile applications and services in Moscow”. After authorization using an account on the portal, the information that the citizen indicated in his personal account or provided when receiving government services will automatically be displayed in the application. The documents that will be used in it can be selected in the settings. If some of them are not listed in your profile on, the system will prompt you to go to the portal and enter the necessary information.

The use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence to improve the quality of life of citizens corresponds to the objectives of the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation” and the regional project of the city of Moscow “Digital Public Administration”.
