Until 2030, the Republic of Tyva will receive 6 billion rubles under the individual program for the socio-economic development of the region (IPR). The current program ends this year. The Federation allocated 5 billion rubles for the development of the region. The primary objectives are to develop the strengths of the economy and respond to the needs of residents.

“New growth points have been created in agriculture, industry, and tourism. Investors have already invested 1.8 billion rubles in projects, and another 1 billion will be invested by the end of the year. More than 500 jobs have appeared. Thanks to the implementation of the program and its combination with other support mechanisms, Tuva reached rates higher than the Russian average. The poverty level decreased 2 times faster than in the country, and unemployment decreased 3 times. Incomes of the population grew 3 times faster. The President supported our approaches to extending individual development programs. This means that Tuva will receive another 6 billion by 2030. It is important that the region fulfills its obligations under the first stage – commissioning all facilities by the end of this year,” said Maxim Reshetnikov.

“The program has proven to be a real development tool. In Tuva, the growth of the domestic regional product is ensured. It was possible to reduce the level of poverty, and incomes of the population increased. Investments have increased noticeably, and the construction of housing and social infrastructure has expanded. In addition, we now produce building materials ourselves thanks to the funds of the individual program for the socio-economic development of the region,” said the head of the republic, Vladislav Khovalyg.

During a trip to the Republic of Tyva, Maxim Reshetnikov visited enterprises that received support under the IPR. A meat plant will help increase the region’s agricultural capabilities; it will be launched this year. This will allow the company to increase the production of sausages by 10 times and canned meat by 7 times, which will replenish the shelves of regional stores.

In addition, a workshop for primary processing of wool will be launched this year. 864 tons of raw materials have already been purchased. There is great demand for wool in neighboring countries, especially in neighboring China. This project is being implemented on behalf of the President and is under our special control.

A furniture factory is preparing to launch – this will increase the supply in stores and reduce the price tag. This is especially true with the increase in housing commissioning: in 2023 it exceeded 172 thousand square meters. m is the largest value so far. This was facilitated by a set of measures of an individual development program: engineering infrastructure facilities for housing construction were designed and built, the production of bricks and reinforced concrete products was modernized, and the production of rubber tiles and paving stones from recycled materials was launched.
