Order No. 908-r dated April 13, 2024

The government has included Kamchatka among the regions that receive support in implementing measures to stimulate employment. In 2024, the region will receive federal funding for these purposes. The order on this has been signed.

We are talking about organizing free vocational training and additional vocational education for employees of military-industrial complex (DIC) enterprises and citizens looking for work for further employment at such enterprises.

The training will be organized as part of the implementation of regional projects that ensure the achievement of the goals, indicators and results of the federal project “Promotion of Employment”. In addition to retraining employees of industrial enterprises, the activities of regional projects are aimed at supporting employers in creating temporary jobs for citizens at risk of dismissal, and in organizing paid public works for those who have registered at the labor exchange. Employers’ costs in these areas are partially reimbursed by the state. In particular, they are compensated for the costs of remunerating such employees and the material and technical equipment of their workplaces.

Taking into account the Kamchatka Territory, in total, in 2024, more than 8.4 thousand employees of defense industry enterprises will take part in the program of free vocational training and additional vocational education. 471.8 million rubles will be allocated from the budget for these purposes.
