The architecture of the business program, which includes more than 60 events, has been published on the official website of the Caucasus Investment Forum. The main theme of the CIF-2024 is “The Greater Caucasus – from sea to sea.”

The main attention of the participants will be paid to the development of entrepreneurship and the agro-industrial complex, transport infrastructure, industry, energy, banking sector, international cooperation, healthcare, and the humanitarian agenda. The central event of the forum will be the plenary session.

“The Caucasus Investment Forum has expanded the topics of the business program compared to last year, and this time it will cover a wide range of development issues in the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts, as well as the CIS countries, the Caspian and Black Sea basins. The forum’s agenda will be attractive to entrepreneurs and investors, among whom there are more and more of those who are fully aware of the highest potential of the region. The exhibition program will reflect the diversity of the North Caucasus, its culture and traditions,” noted Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.

Special attention within the framework of the business program of the Caucasus Investment Forum will be paid to the media space and creative industries, as well as issues of development of domestic tourism in the regions of the North Caucasus. In addition, a meeting of the Government Commission on socio-economic development of the North Caucasus Federal District is planned to be held at the forum. The strategic session will also be devoted to the implementation of the Strategy for the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus Federal District for the period until 2030 and its action plan.

“Large-scale work has been carried out to prepare the events of the business program of the first Caucasian Investment Forum. We see a high need for a discussion platform – we have received a large number of initiatives from federal authorities, constituent entities, universities, banks and commercial organizations, and analyzed all proposals. As a result, the business program consists of round tables and discussions in various formats. We see regional development and interregional interaction as the fundamental concept of the forum, based on the search for external partners for joint economic growth and the unity of religious, historical and cultural characteristics,” noted Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Sergei Nazarov.

“One of the goals of the Caucasus Investment Forum is to make the North Caucasus one of the business centers of Russia, to create here a regular platform for dialogue between government officials and the business community. I am convinced that the FIF-2024 fully meets this task. The forum will bring together leading experts from various industries, opinion leaders, entrepreneurs, as well as foreign delegations in one place. Representatives of the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and many others have already shown their interest in participating in the forum,” said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the KIF-2024 Organizing Committee.

By decision of the organizing committee, the Caucasian Investment Forum will be held in the capital of the Chechen Republic – in the city of Grozny.

“It is gratifying that this year the Chechen Republic will become the center of the North Caucasus during the forum. It is an honor for Chechnya to host the Caucasus Investment Forum, which will become a landmark event, a platform for negotiations and the conclusion of business contracts with the aim of developing investment projects and public-private partnerships. The forum will be able to demonstrate its projects to guests and introduce them to the traditions of the region. I am convinced that the event will be held at the highest level according to all the standards of major international events,” said the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.

In addition to the events of the main business program, for the first time at the forum there will be a solemn ceremony of presenting the Vershina investment award for contribution to the development of the investment potential of Russian regions. The official partner of this award was Kavkaz.RF.

The Development Institute will take part in the nominations “Best project in the field of tourism” and “For comprehensive coverage of investment processes in Russia.”

“The North Caucasus today is one of the leaders in the tourism and investment market. Thanks to interesting and attractive projects and new locations, more and more people are choosing holidays in the mountains, where resorts are being built and modernized with the active participation of businesses. Large investors have assessed the prospects of the region and are ready to invest in its development, since the tourism and investment potential of the North Caucasus must be used to improve the quality of life of people. As part of the “Vershina” award, our company will celebrate not only the best tourism projects, but also a thoughtful approach to covering current trends in investment,” commented Andrey Yumshanov, CEO of Kavkaz.RF.
